  • Disconnectable power cable
  • Automatic shut-off after 12 hours of heating
  • Flexible structure, Optimal Comfort
  • High density carbon fabric
  • Super resistant coating, waterproof, easy to maintain
  • Natural, Durable and Recyclable

High Technology for Highest Efficiency

Carbon Tech V2 uses high density carbon fabric specifically designed for even heat distribution.
The soft nature will move easily into any shape providing maximum patient comfort.

Easy to Use

Once in use, Carbon Tech V2 will reach its target temperature in less than 5 minutes.
Carbon Tech is designed to maintain its target of temperature safety for a long period.

Safe Heating

Made of heating elements 6 times more important than classical heating mats, Carbon Tech V2 delivers a low contact temperature while transfering to the animal the energy necessary for heating it up.

It heats in complete safety, thanks to its integrated probe with temperature sensor, and its integrated temperature limiter (107,6°F - 42 ° C).

Super-flat, Carbon Tech V2 does not store heat, avoiding any risks of burns.

Robust

The protective coating on Carbon Tech V2 is designed for maximum resistance to animal scratching and biting and is totally waterproof.

Hygienic

CarbonTech V2 can be cleaned easily with water and soap. Cleaning is facilitated by its disconnectable power cable
After drying, it can be disinfected with alcohol.

What’s the advantage of using a veterinary-specific heating mat?

Carbon Tech is a warming device designed to prevent hypothermia and developed specifically to be used by veterinaries.

Preventive:

Maintaining the body temperature is very important in the peri and post operative period.
The inability of an anaesthetised patient to maintain its body temperature will lead to hypothermia.

Consequences of hypothermia can include:

  • Slow anaesthetic recovery
  • Delayed wound healing
  • Risk of shock, poor circulation
  • Thus, risk of death

Maintaining a patient’s body is also important during simple procedures such as dental scaling.
The smaller the animal, the greater the risk of hypothermia. Thus, monitoring temperature is very important for rodents and birds.

Curative

Hypothermia associated with shock must be treated slowly and systematically. It is important to maintain the body temperature as closest as possible to the normal temperature (38°C-100°F for cats and dogs). The heating mat enables gentle warming of the patient without any risk of burning.
The use of Carbon Tech during anaesthesia or resuscitation to maintain patient temperature is simple and safe.
